Vanguard UGM 8 Class

How to build the best Vanguard UGM 8 class

A fast-firing LMG.

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 4 has arrived. Every new season brings new weapons for you to unlock and use. Already, the Marco 5 submachine gun is proving to be a strong contender in Vanguard. However, a new weapon has also joined the light machine gun category known as the UGM 8. You can unlock the weapon for free once you reach tier 31 of the Season 4 battle pass. Levelling up the UGM 8 unlocks all the attachments you need to build a powerful class in Vanguard.

The UGM 8 is already a strong light machine gun, as it has a high fire rate and mobility. The multiplayer maps this weapon best suits are medium to larger maps such as USS Texas 1945 and Oasis. This class will focus on improving the fire rate and accuracy to make the UGM 8 a fast killing machine.

Call of Duty: Vanguard best UGM 8 class

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Bernard XL214 736mm
  • Stock: Bernard Forte VII
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 125 Round Box
  • Ammunition Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Tight Grip
  • Kit: Fully Loaded
  • Optic: Slate Reflector

Let’s begin by breaking down the class. The first attachment is the Recoil Booster, which increases the fire rate of your light machine gun. Then, the Bernard XL214 736mm barrel adds multiple benefits to your class. The reduced scope sway and gun bob, extra recoil control and flinch resistance, along with a further boost to your fire rate will transform your UGM 8 into an accurate and fast-firing weapon. Also, the Bernard Forte VII stock is useful in improving the accuracy of your initial shots when you begin firing. At the same time, you will gain more recoil recovery and a faster aim down sight speed. When you are selecting an underbarrel, the M1941 Hand Stop is a strong option for greater recoil control and accuracy.

Locked and loaded

Moving on to the magazine, the 6.5mm Sakura 125 Round Box is viable in more ways than one. It significantly increases your recoil control and accuracy and fire rate. In addition, you will have a lot of bullets to work with, especially when you use the Fully Loaded kit, which allows you to take the maximum starting ammunition to the battlefield. Using the Subsonic ammunition keeps your shots hidden from the mini-map and you away from enemy detection.

There are a few more attachments to note. The Fabric Grip increases your aim down sight speed, sprint to fire speed, and aim down sight speed. The Tight Grip proficiency will provide you with some extra accuracy and recoil during sustained fire. You can use the Slate Reflector optic, but the iron sight on this weapon is already clear.

Along with this Vanguard UGM 8 class, you should use a pistol in your secondary weapon slot. If you find yourself in a situation where an enemy is up ahead but you have to reload, swapping to your pistol is a quicker solution. Since the launch of Vanguard, the Ratt has solidified itself as the best pistol in multiplayer.
