Fancy a change?

Monster Hunter-likes come with many features packed in. There’s co-op, cooking, fishing, and even building in the newest game in the genre – Wild Hearts. One of the beloved features of the genre is being able to create your character, allowing your imagination to run wild. Wild Hearts is no different here, with a very robust character creator that you access at the beginning of the game. How to customize appearance in Wild Hearts

The initial character creation process comes during the introduction to the game when you meet Mujina. You’re then allowed to create your own character. When it comes to making your character in Wild Hearts, there a ton of options for you to use. From hairstyles and makeup, all the way down to different voices and facial features, there’s a lot on offer. After this initial process however, changing your character’s looks is a bit of a process.

To change your character’s appearance after the initial character creator, you have to unlock the Looking Glass Dragon Karakuri upgrade. This means spending time and resources investing down the correct path to unlock the option to change how your character looks in Wild Hearts.

While this may seem like a hassle, there is light at the end of the tunnel. After you unlock the upgrade, you won’t have to worry about not being able to change your character’s appearance ever again. You can build Dragon Karakuri around wherever you want, and you can use them as many times as you like. But the initial grind to get it may take a while, as it’s relatively far down the upgrade tree.
