Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are games where you can tackle your own Pokémon journey in whatever way you want. With the game’s open-world nature, you can find things at your own pace and decide which of the main stories you want to do first. The openness of the game is also true in the first DLC pack, The Teal Mask. As soon as you’re let loose in Kitakami you can then go in any direction that you want to go and find whatever it is you want to find. One of the various things you can find in the wild of Kitakami is Snorlax. Here’s our guide on how to find Snorlax in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask DLC.

How to find a Snorlax in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC

To be able to find a Snorlax in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC, you must first also know how to access the DLC itself. When you’re in Kitakami, I recommend continuing the main plot until at least you’re going to find signboards. This is where the DLC allows you to use your legendary to get around the map, and makes getting to the location of the Snorlax a lot easier.

To actually go about finding Snorlax in the Teal Mask DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’re going to want to head to the north-east of the map. All the way up to the Timeless Woods in the top right of the map. You should be able to get to the location that’s in the image above. In this area there is a cave that you can enter to get an item and a few encounters, but guarding said cave is a Snorlax sleeping! Now if you’re a Pokémon veteran, you’re probably thinking that you need an item to be able to wake the Snorlax up, but it turns out, once you find the Snorlax in the Teal Mask DLC, you can just run into it and wake it up by activating a battle. No Poké Flute needed!

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available for purchase from the Nintendo Store.
