Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to fix the picnic table missing bug

While we’re still waiting on news about what Game Freak’s plans are next for Pokemon, we have the final saga in the Scarlet and Violet storyline here, and overall, players have been happy with the new DLC.

This contributes to the overall sentiment regarding Scarlet and Violet, as players have noted that this was a better-than-expected generation, but of course, there have been some bugs. This includes the picnic tables going missing when players set up camp, and even after they make food on one of these tables, they completely vanish from your game.

While it’s rather annoying, there’s a simple solution that some players reported worked for them, and you’ll need to save your game and hard reset it by closing the application from your Nintendo Switch’s home menu.

This should be the magic touch you need to fix this bug, and hopefully, when you load back into Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll be able to enjoy your picnic with your Pokemon.

Picnics have become a beloved feature introduced this generation, and there have been some tasty food options that players have had the chance to cook up, including the Academy Special All-Type Sparkling Sandwich.

In the meantime, The Indigo Disk has been a praised final major content update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and it’s given us something to hold us over between now and the busy holiday season. There’s no better feeling than just battling it out with some other Pokemon trainers after a long day, and the conclusion of The Indigo Disk has stirred up some discussion among fans.

For now, be sure to check out our other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet guides here, as there are some crafty Pokemon you’ll want to catch throughout the brand-new DLC.
