where to get a log sled in sons of the forest feat

Can you get a log sled in Sons of the Forest?

Sleds are fun.

In the original The Forest game, one of the most beloved items you could craft was a log sled. It was used for transporting — and handy for storing — logs. This item was an incredibly useful one to have in the original game. One of the questions that might be on the tip of your tongue as a long-time The Forest fan is if you can still get a log sled Sons of the Forest. Furthermore, if it is, how do you get one? Luckily for you, having done the research, and the answer to that question is relatively simple, if also a little bit disappointing.

Sons of the Forest: Is there a log sled?

Unfortunately, the log sled in Sons of the Forest doesn’t actually exist. Nothing in the game is actually definitively called the log sled. You see, in Sons of the Forest, the sled actually goes by the name of simply… sled.

With a name like that, you’d assume it does the same thing that the log sled did in the original The Forest. Sadly, it does not. Therefore, the sled in Sons of the Forest doesn’t actually let you transport or store logs on it. You can only use this sled for traversal.

But if you just want something you can craft to glide around the environment, the sled is craftable in the game.

How to craft the sled

If you still want to craft the sled in Sons of the Forest, it’s relatively easy to do so. All you have to do is locate a 3D printer in the game. You can find by investigating green circles on your map. The sled requires a hefty 1,000ml of resin to craft, which is a lot. But if you’re in co-op, you should be able to get this amount easily and more with the resin available in the room in which you find the 3D printer.
