In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll come across all sorts of weapons with different stats and special features. The effects of rot will eventually take them from you, but they’re fun while they last. Here is our guide on how to get a Swallow Bow in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom – how to get a Swallow Bow

You can find the Swallow Bow in three main locations throughout the Hebra region, all of them very cold. Bring along meals that improve your Cold Resistance, or wear two or more pieces of the Snowquill set that you can buy in Rito Village (a set I like enough that I have worn it throughout most of my time spent with the game). Then head to the locations indicated by the map screenshots below to collect your Swallow Bows.

The easiest Swallow Bow to find is at the Flight Range. You can get there a number of ways. The easiest way available is if you have already activated Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. Simply fast travel there. From where you appear, walk forward along the snow between the thorns and drop along the edge of the cliff. Descend to the first building you see and enter it to talk to Kaneli. He’ll let you have the bow and some arrows, which are right next to him.

Not far south from the Flight Range, the path splits as it heads north. Instead of taking the left path to reach the Flight Range, continue following it to the northeast and the Hebra Trailhead Lodge. Near that lodge, follow the trail up the slope to a cave. Work your way through the cave. Right near that cave’s exit to the summit, you’ll find a camp of Bokoblins. Defeat the enemies and grab the bow from the treasure chest they were guarding. You have been through the general area if you followed our guide on where to find Tulin.

You can find one more Swallow Bow if you travel east from where you found the second one. Ascend Hebra Peak to reach a higher ledge. There are a couple of large ice formations. Melt the one on the right to gain access to a treasure chest. I had to fire several shots using arrows with Fire Fruit. The chest contains the Swallow Bow.

Make sure to set aside a Swallow Bow to offer to Teba after you clear the Wind Temple. Teba can craft the Great Eagle Bow, but requires a Swallow Bow, Bundles of Wood (5), and Diamonds (3) to make that happen.
