Players will unlock request 27, “Bring me a triangular sword,” from Elizabeth in mid-June, where you must find her the item before the deadline of 7/5. After accepting the request, you can obtain the triangular sword in Persona 3 Reload from Mitsuri in the dorm’s common room. The sword is called a fencing epee.

You will know when Mitsuri has the sword if she has blue exclamation points above her head. If you find Mitsuri in the dorm with no exclamation points and no fencing epee, you may have to wait a few days for it to become available. For example, Mitsuri had the fencing epee for me on 6/27.

Once you obtain the fencing epee from Mitsuri, head back to Elizabeth at the velvet room and turn it in to complete request 27.

After giving the fencing epee to Elizabeth, you will be rewarded with Gallant Sneakers. Here are the stats of Gallant Sneakers in Persona 3 Reload:

  • Evade: 42
  • Effect: Resist Fear

The Gallant Sneakers are valuable shoes at this point in the game as they offer a decent evade stat and the effect of resisting fear. A higher evade number will make it easier for enemy attacks to miss you while resisting fear will make it so the wearer never gets inflicted with the fear status effect.

Considering fear is one of the most troubling status effects in Persona 3 Reload, having powerful sneakers that resist it is beneficial. If your party member is inflicted with fear, they won’t be able to attack, and they have the possibility of fleeing from battle. If a member flees from battle, they won’t receive any experience points from the fight.
