Bubbul Gems are a new key item in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. As you explore Great Sky Island, you’ll likely run into one or two Bubbulfrogs which give Bubbul Gems on death. How to get Bubbul Gems in Tears of the Kingdom

The only way to get Bubbul Gems in Tears of the Kingdom is to kill Bubbulfrogs. Bubbulfrogs are only found in caves which makes the best place to farm for Bubbul Gems the Depths.

Any cave you enter, even some in Great Sky Island, can have a Bubbulfrog in it. Bubbulfrogs are light blue frog-like creatures that are medium-sized and stick to cave ceilings and walls. To eliminate the, simply shoot them once or twice with an arrow (now is a good time to learn how to cancel an arrow shot).

How to use Bubbul Gems in Tears of the Kingdom

Now that you know how to get Bubbul Gems in Tears of the Kingdom, you’re likely wondering what they are used for. You can turn in Bubbul Gems for amazing gear like the Bokoblin Mask and the Mystic set through Koltin. But first, you need to go to Kilton and Koltin who are located at the Woodland Stable in the Eldin region.

Once you find Kilton and Koltin, you need to finish the “The Search for Bubbul Gems!” quest which can be easily done if you already have a Bubbul Gem. If not, search the caves nearby for a Bubbulfrog. With that done, you can trade your Bubbul Gems with Koltin or Kilton in exchange for some of the best armor.
