These IVs vary from 0-31, with a value being given to each of the six main stats. However, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players can use Bottle Caps to remove the randomness of this process. When a bottle cap is used on a Pokémon it maximizes one of their IVs in a chosen stat. There are also Golden Bottle Caps that maximize a Pokémon’s IVs in all six stats. You can use Bottle Caps by speaking to the NPC who wears sunglasses in Montenevera Town.
