Frox are boss-type enemies that roam large portions of the Depths in Tears of the Kingdom. They’re a fairly common enemy, but their materials can make powerful weapons. So farming things like the Frox Fang is a very good idea. Luckily, Frox Fangs are also a very easy material to acquire. So, let’s quickly run through the best ways to get Frox Fangs in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom: How to get Frox Fangs

Frox Fangs are one of the common drops that these enemies can provide. And unlike getting fangs from something like the Light Dragon, farming Frox is nowhere near as annoying. You just need to kill a Frox in order to get it to drop the Fang. Of course, this is easier said than done if you’re still fairly early in the game. So be sure to check out our guide on how to beat Frox to get prepared for the fight. Frox can deal a surprising amount of damage, so ensure you’re ready to take them on.

Once you’re ready to start taking these things down, you need to have a good farming route mapped out. My personal favorite place for this is in the southwest corner of the depths. The region around the Abandoned Gerudo Mine has around six Frox roaming around. And since they’re all so close together, getting to each one is extremely easy. If you work your way around to each Frox you should easily be able to acquire around 10 or so Frox Fangs. Another piece of advice is to save before fighting each one. If you’re unlucky and don’t get a Frox to drop its Fang, you can just reload the save and try again.

There are plenty of other materials worth farming in Tears of the Kingdom besides Frox Fangs. Black Bokoblin Horns are another material that are easy to find. And if you need some ingredients for elixirs, check out the best places to find Moblin Guts.
