In Solo Leveling Arise, you’ll need Gate Keys to enter the many dungeons that’ll be available to you at any time. It isn’t exactly obvious how to get more, however.
Gates are currently the only way to farm XP outside of the story, but farming for levels is hard considering the limit on Gate Keys.
Every way to get Gate Keys in Solo Leveling Arise
Unfortunately, there are a few ways to get Gate Keys in Solo Leveling Arise.
Every day, all of your Gate Keys will replenish. This means that you’ll only have so many gate attempts every day. So if you want to maximize XP gain without spending a penny, you’ll simply have to clear all of the gates you can with whatever Gate Keys you have.
This isn’t typically a challenge for most, so this comes as a rather limiting factor.
So if you’re desperate to clear more gates, you can spend Essence Stones. 150 Essence Stones will get you one Gate Key, which isn’t a bad trade but isn’t desirable for a couple of reasons. Most will be using the gates to grind for Essence Stones, making this not cost-effective.
Also, Essence Stones are best spent on Draw Tickets. So this transaction can hardly be justified.
The only other way to get Gate Keys in Solo Leveling Arise is by parting with your hard-earned cash. In the Shop, you can buy Gate Keys. Interestingly, I could only find them purchasable from the Daily Basic Growth Pack, which you can only buy one of every day. It does not cost much at all, but that’s where they get you.
Even for the small price, the few Gate Keys you’ll get will hardly increase your XP gain, unless you buy it every day, which is when you’ll be spending some big money.
How to increase your maximum Gate Keys in Solo Leveling Arise
There is a way to increase your maximum Gate Keys in Solo Leveling Arise. After completing the tutorial, all players will be on 11 and will assume that’s where it will stay for the rest of the game. However, this can be increased.
To be transparent, I have been unable to confirm this, despite my research. But I believe that the higher your Reputation Level, the more Gate Keys you’ll be able to have at a time. This won’t be awarded every time, but the higher Reputation players seem to have a much higher maximum of Gate Keys.
Reputation is difficult to grind, so this will be a slow and passive process, but at least it’s possible.
