You used to be able to run Legend Lost Sectors as well as other activities to try and earn new exotics, but no more. Now, if you want to get new Exotic armor in Destiny 2 The Final Shape, you must reset your rank with Rahool once to first unlock tier 2 Exotic focusing.

But the most notable ones we’re going to focus on today are the updates and changes made to Rahool and his engram focusing. The new reputation ranks you can gain for decrypting engrams help towards getting new Exotic armor in Destiny 2.

After resetting his rank, head to the Exotic decryptor menu and there will be a third page exclusively for unlocking new Exotic armor. New Exotics will cost you one Exotic Engram, one Exotic Cipher, and an abundance of Glimmer to get a new piece of gear. And if you want to unlock all the new armor of every class, you’ll need to have a decent amount of Exotic Ciphers stocked up.
