How to get the Emerald Axe in Fortnite

Irish I had it.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

It’s that time of the year again when players are asking how to get the Emerald Axe in Fortnite. Epic’s Battle Royale juggernaut has amassed a mountain of seasonally themed skins, emotes, and cosmetics, and it’s time for that vault to open once again. On March 17, we can expect to see the return of the Green Clover set to celebrate St. Patrick’s day. The Emerald Smasher Pickaxe is part of the Green Clover set and is rather rare as it only tends to stay in the shop for a couple of days at a time. If you miss these cosmetics, you’ll likely have to wait until 2024 for them to reappear.

There’s unlikely to be any way to earn this set through in-game events. This year will mark the fourth that the collection has existed in Fortnite, and it has always come with a price tag.

Fortnite – Price for the Emerald Axe

Fortnite pricing tends to stay the same for returning cosmetics, and we can expect to see the Emerald Smasher along with the entire set at these prices:

  • Emerald Smasher Harvesting Tool – 800 VBucks
  • Lucky Wrap – 300 VBucks
  • Lucky Coins Back Bling – 200 VBucks
  • Lucky Rider Outfit – 1500 VBucks
  • Pot O’ Gold Harvesting Tool – 1200 VBucks
  • SGT. Green Clover Skin – 800 VBucks

Unfortunately, the Clovers Contrail, which complements the set, was a Season 8 Battle Pass reward. Aside from that one appearance back in 2019, it’s never returned. If you’ve been playing for a while and really want to show off, why not slap that on for Friday?

A new Fortnite season is upon us.

Season 2 Chapter 4 has just begun Fortnite, bringing several new POIs, including the futuristic Mega City, added to the map. With Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan set to enter the fray next month, it’s clear Epic wants to add more popular anime franchises to its ever-growing repertoire.
