What better way to flex on the guy you just blasted across the map than having an outrageous-looking gun? Camo progression in Modern Warfare 3 shows you just how far along the various challenges you are and what you need to do to achieve it.
I always like to rock a showy weapon camo if I can. Although they may be tactically redundant, that isn’t what it’s about. It’s about, first of all, showing off how sick you look and, secondly, what you have managed to achieve in the game.
Check your Modern Warfare camo progression
To be able to see your camo progression in Modern Warfare 3, you need first to reach level 4. This won’t take more than a few games, and it will unlock the ability to switch up your load-outs and access the gunsmith.
Once you have access to the customize menu above your operator in the multiplayer menu, you then need to select the gun you would like to check the camo progression on. In the gunsmith menu, you can switch up everything you like about the gun, selecting from 100s of different mods.
Find the option for camo. In this menu, you will be able to view all of the different ones available for guns. Hovering over the various colors, classifications, and options will show you just what you need to do to unlock them. In the top left of the screen, you will see a box that lists the name of the camo and what you need to do to unlock it. Once you have started on the camo mission, it will show you just how far through the progression you are in Modern Warfare 3.
The best camos available in Modern Warfare 3 are going to take some serious grinding to achieve. They are rarely just as simple as getting a certain amount of kills. You will have to work hard for them. However, the camo progression is always worth it when you’re rocking around with a blinged-out AK.
