Fortnite: Chapter 2, Season 3 brought a new flooded map, as well as new items and new forms of mobility. The Week 5 challenges will be available very soon, meaning players can unlock the Fortnite Aquaman skin and the Trident pickaxe. Similar to the Deadpool skin in the previous season, the Aquaman skin is unlocked by completing a set of challenges that gradually roll out throughout the season.
How to find the challenges
The challenges can be viewed at the map challenges table on the battle pass menu. Here, you can view the challenges that are available to complete, including the Aquaman ones. Also, the style challenges area of the battle pass menu allows you to track your progress towards unlocking the skin.
How to unlock the Fortnite Aquaman skin
To unlock the Aquaman skin, you need to complete all five of the challenges when the Week 5 challenge unlocks. Once you have completed all that is required, a message will appear telling you that the skin has been unlocked. With this skin comes an Arthur Curry style for Aquaman, which can be unlocked at Gorgeous Gorge while wearing the Aquaman skin. Gorgeous Gorge is located to the west of Lazy Lake. Upon arrival, simply dive over the waterfall to unlock the Arthur Curry skin.
How to unlock the Fortnite Trident pickaxe
Players must complete the “claim your Trident at Coral Cove” challenge. As the name of the challenge states, you must travel to Coral Cove to earn the pickaxe. However, the pickaxe is not located on the island itself. Instead, you will find the Trident pickaxe south of Coral Cove on a large rock. The Trident is easy to spot, and all you have to do is approach it in order to claim it. You can then equip it from your locker.
