This generation of VR is still very much in its infancy and the biggest problem with it is the price. Hardware and headset manufacturers are trying to reduce the barrier to entry with bundles and HTC and HP have put a package together.
The HP bundle contains a VR-ready HP ENVY 750-470na alongside a full Vive VR system for £1,499 here in the UK. The case has been Vive styled and the deal comes with everything ready to go and includes a USB drive with all the software and drivers needed to get the Vive up and running. A “one-click” installation they say.
The usual three Vive games are included, Zombie Training Simulator, The Gallery – Episode 1: Call of the Starseed, and Tilt Brush.
