Impire shows off dungeons, minotaurs and hero slaying in latest footage

Congratulations are due for Impire developers Cyanide Montreal, who’ve managed to put out a promotional video that actually shows seven minutes of uncut gameplay. That’s getting increasingly rare these days, so it’s a refreshing change.

The game continues to look an awful lot like Dungeon Keeper, except with slightly worse voice acting. If that ends up being the biggest mark against it, then I’d say the team has done a decent job. Time will tell.

If you want to pre-order Impire for $20 USD and receive a couple of extra creatures for your underground lair, head over here. Otherwise, stick around for the footage.

The game should be with us on 14 February.
