Impressive looking Black Desert MMO is coming to the west

The very tasty looking Back Desert from Pearl Abyss will release this side of the planet.

There aren’t many MMOs that impress us here at IncGamers, mainly because there’s been little innovation with the genre in the past few years. There is however one MMO that’s looking quite tasty and it’s a Korean MMO called Black Desert.

We’ve highlighted the game before in the IncGamers news with videos that show the game’s impressive visuals, and the good news is Korean publisher Daum is bringing the game to the western market. They will also be opening an office somewhere here in the west to support the western release. When that will happen is still unknown.

The game has been running a series of closed beta tests in Korea for a few months and third testing phase is expected to get underway some time in August or September.

We’ve yet to go hands-on with the game ourselves but we plan on taking a look when the next Korean testing session kicks off.

In case you missed the last video we posted, here it is again in its full 24 minute glory showing many of the game’s locations. Lovely stuff.
