By Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been out in the wild for quite some time now, but the team over at SCS Software continues working to improve it. The latest development is that a small team of map designers are currently tasked with making changes to the Germany map that’s included in the base game:

As you can see, those shots are comparisons between the current look of the map and the improved version that’s being worked on. There’s definitely a jump in quality!
Seeing that the Germany map is included in the base game, these improvements will be released as a free update whenever the team is finished. SCS has not mentioned exactly when the work will be complete, but hopefully it will be released sooner rather than later.
