Clash Royale, Supercell’s fast-paced and card-based strategy game, has remained a dominant mobile game since its release years ago.
Gems, a currency in Clash Royale, help players buy gold and cards in order to level them up, can be hard to come by. In this article, we will cover whether there is a gem glitch in the game or not, and what players can do to earn this precious currency.
Can you glitch Gems in Clash Royale?
Despite the many different YouTube videos, websites, and advertisements that can be found online claiming to offer players free Gems or Gold, there is, unfortunately, no way to glitch these currencies onto your account in order to gain an advantage in the game. Since the game is multiplayer-based, you cannot change anything client-side in regards to your own account, meaning that anything you read online about glitching Gems to your account is a hoax.
Additionally, websites offering “discounted” resources for sale are most likely performing some sort of scheme, and are outright scamming their customers. Therefore, we do not recommend players attempt to glitch Gems or Gold onto their account, nor provide any personal details such as their email if prompted to by “generator” websites.
Can you get free Gems in Clash Royale?
Luckily for players who are looking for a way to earn Gems without paying real money for the currency, there are a couple of ways for gamers to earn them within the game. The first is to progress through the Free Pass Royale, which offers Crown Chests every time you reach specific tiers in the game. These Crown Chests always yield Gems, usually within the two to four Gems per Chest range. It’s a small amount, to be sure, but if you carefully save your Gems your stockpile will quickly add up.
Another revenue stream for players to earn Gems is through the Shop, which can be accessed by clicking the button in the bottom left corner of the main screen, or by swiping twice to the left. The Shop refreshes every 24 hours, and can occasionally give players a free 25 Gems. Although this does not happen daily, it is quite frequent and thus serves as an additional way for players to stock up on Gems. Good luck, and watch out for those greedy Goblins who would love nothing more than to steal your Gems from you!
