First off, you may be wondering what rerolling even means. In gacha games, rerolling is the process of restarting or wiping the save data to retry the gacha roll. You can do this in Genshin Impact, but you have to create a new account to try and get a better roll result. This is because Genshin Impact autosaves, and there is no way to wipe the save data after a banner roll. It also takes over half an hour, since you must create an account and get your character to a certain Adventure Rank to access rolling.

This process is about the same for Honkai: Star Rail. You’ll have to create a new account with a different email, then get through the 40-ish minutes of the game’s introduction just to do some rolling. So overall, the answer to whether rerolling in Honkai: Star Rail is worth it, is a no. For now, this is the only reroll method, and it’s quite tedious.
Although, it may be worth it if you’re sure that you at least want to earn any character on your new account. It wouldn’t seem worth it if you’re making a fake account for rerolling when you already have an account you’ve put hours into. But since this game is releasing very soon, and you’ll be starting your new journey anyways, feel free to reroll. Otherwise, rerolling in Honkai: Star Rail doesn’t seem worth it.
