Want some retro action? Wolverhampton’s Dunstall Park is the place to be next month.

The Revival Retro Event which takes place on 9-10 August will feature a very special guest, John Romero. This event is a celebration of all things retro and gamers will even be able to take on Romero at Doom. He’ll also be on hand to answer questions and sign stuff. Time to dig out any Doom memorabilia you might have lying around.

The event takes place at Dunstall Race Course where there will be  hundreds of fully playable classic arcade machines, computer and console set-ups. The Retro Computer Museum and the Centre for Computing History will also have an exhibition, and there will be Q&As from industry veterans from companies like OCEAN and U.S. GOLD. Pioneering gaming mag stalwarts from Newsfield Publishing, creators of Crash and Zzap! will also be there. Remember them? Of course you do.
