Your next words will be, “When in September?”

It’s been a while since fans of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure could enjoy a new video game, but that drought is nearly over. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is now set to release on September 2. Bandai Namco released a new trailer for the anime-based fighting game to go along with this announcement. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is also available for pre-order on the official website, and it comes in a few different editions. The standard edition will include only the game itself. Going a few steps higher, the Digital Deluxe Edition will include an Animation Special Event Color Set for Giorno Giovanna, Josuke Higashikata, Jotaro Kujo, Joseph Joestar, and Jonathan Joestar. It will also include the Season Pass, which will grant players four new characters, two days of early access to those Season Pass characters, and two exclusive costumes for Rohan Kishibe and Muhammed Avdol.

Finally, the Collectors Bundle will also include an Animation Special Event Color Set, as well as a Special Color edition of Jolyne Cujoh’s 10-inch statue from the Grandista series. All pre-orders of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R will receive a Green Dolphin Street State Prison Jacket outfit for Jolyne Cujoh.

It was me, remastered content!

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is an acclaimed manga and anime series from author Hirohiko Araki. It became famous for its bold art style, iconic characters, and over-the-top creative story. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is a love letter to fans of the franchise, so we’re hoping this remaster turns out well.

The game will include 50 characters from every story arc in the series, and developer CyberConnect2 has made changes to the battle system from the original game. Some of these changes include adjustments to the tempo of matches and the inclusion of jump dashes and hit stops. The voice actors from the anime recorded new lines of dialogue, and the graphics have seen some updates to bring them up modern standards.

Ideally, it’ll be the game that every JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fan has been waiting for.
