The signs have been there for a while now, and Warner Bros have today made it official. Injustice: Gods Among Us will be coming to the PC in the form of an ‘Ultimate Edition’ that includes all DLC released for the game to date. 29 November is the release date, and (on PC at least) it’ll cost £30.00 GBP.

Sounds like the PC version will be handled by High Voltage, the same studio behind the Mortal Kombat PC release earlier in the year. The Ultimate Edition will come with “more than 40 extra character skins and 60 S.T.A.R. Labs Missions” as well, err, Scorpion from Mortal Kombat (maybe he’s lost or something.) If you’re in ‘The Americas,’ your edition will come with a soundtrack too. The lack of stand-alone soundtrack in other regions is presumably down to some odd licensing restrictions, though Warner Bros. isn’t saying.

This announcement press release doesn’t go into any detail about PC-specific features for Injustice: Gods Among Us like improved textures, frame-rates, resolutions and soforth; but as it’s the same people as Mortal Kombat handling it, you can probably expect all of those things. Hopefully this release will have improved netcode too, as that seems to have been an issue for some MK players on PC.
