Kane & Lynch Getting DC Comic

IO Interactive and Square Enix have announced a partnership with DC Comics to create a Kane & Lynch comic book.
The comic, which will be produced by DC’s WildStorm imprint, is apparently not for the faint of heart with a “brutal storyline” that “explores some of Kane & Lynch’s criminal past.”
The comic is penned by Ian Edginton, with Ben Templesmith as cover artist and Chris Mitten as artist.
“Kane and Lynch are two of the most interesting videogame characters I have ever seen,” said DC’s Hank Kanalz. “I think this new series will show the diversity of our line of books, as our creators capture the essence of these two criminals.”
Kane and Lynch first starred in Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, a third-person shooter with a serious crime thriller bent, and we’re currently waiting on Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, due to hit later this year.
The comic’s first issue will launch in August. Check out some concept art from the comic below.
