With the Grifta, they took the conventional controller design, made removable parts, and switched around layouts for easier access.

They’ve taken advantage of the opportunity to raise quality by using mechanical switches for the d-pad and face buttons, and capacitive switches for shoulder buttons.

The controller should also work with your Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4, thanks to partnerships with XIM Tech and ControllerMax. They are also working on mobile compatibility, and are in the middle of acquiring Apple licenses.

For now, you can help fund this dream project for £65,000 on Kickstarter here.
