Valve’ s anti-cheat system (VAC) has just gone into overdrive with the largest VAC ban wave this year according to stats.

VAC ban tracking site Vac-Ban shows that there were 4346 VAC bans on the 13 September which is significantly higher than usual.

The large ban wave appears to have come about from cheat systems now being detected by Valve and the VAC system. Good news for players of games such as CS:GO and bad news for cheaters and the paid cheat providers.

If you suddenly see players vanish then it’s likely because they have been cheating gits. Why people bother cheating and ruining it for everyone else is a mystery.

Thanks Valve Time.
