Latest PS3 firmware update gives you a big, beautiful cloud

Sony’s proposed extension of the cloud saving capacity on the PS3, which was announced at Gamescom last month, has now rolled out across all consoles. Software update v4.25 expands online game save storage space from a fairly decent 150MB to a hefty 1.0GB of space.

In order to update to v4.25, head to the System Update portion of the Settings menu (if the console itself hasn’t already automatically promoted you to download the latest version).

Then, as an optional challenge, find whichever one of your games has the biggest save files and see if you can fill up the full gig.
