‘Leaked’ Modern Warfare 2 Vid Shows Terrorist Atrocity

A leaked video, reportedly from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, in which the player massacres unarmed civilians has appeared on the net. In the video, the player can be seen entering an airport alongside teammates and laying waste to a large group of unarmed passengers, before rampaging through the building even shooting those attempting to help injured civilians. The video is quickly disappearing from sites but can currently be found on CNN’s iReport, where it will no doubt attract some controversy. From early trailers we do know the game will include a section based in an airport which seems to lend credence to the video. However, we would be enormously surprised if the BBFC passed such content, especially as it was announced last week that Modern Warfare 2 has been awarded an 18 rating in the UK with no cuts made. What do you think about the footage? Is it genuine? If so, is Infinity Ward right to include such gameplay in Modern Warfare 2 or has it made a colossal mistake? Let us know in the comments section below.
