Leaked Modern Warfare 3 details only partly accurate, say Infinity…

Infinity Ward say the deluge of information purporting to be about the as-yet-unannounced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 leaked on the internet today is only partly accurate.
The studio’s Robert Bowling had this to say on twitter about the leaked details: “A lot of hype & a lot of leaked info on [Modern Warfare 3], some still accurate, some not.”
Information about the game (including what is supposedly the entire plot) was posted by Kotaku earlier today, after being received from “a trusted source.” An alleged release date of 8 November 2011 was also mentioned for the title, which is said to take place in locations across the world.
If you want more explicit spoilers you know where to head, but if Bowling is to be believed (and he may just be running damage control at this point) not all of what you read can be taken as accurate.
