Left 4 Dead 2 Gets Cricket Bat

Valve has unveiled one of the remaining melee weapons in Left 4 Dead 2 – the humble cricket bat.Presumably inspired by Shaun of the Dead, the announcement comes just as the Ashes are set to begin.While there’s not much to go on, barring that it’s a cricket bat and it’s good for cracking zombie skulls, we have to wonder the most important question: is cricket all that popular in the parts of America in which L4D2 is set, or will our survivors just have a knack for finding British-run sporting goods stores?Either way, you can see the clearly Ashes-inspired image (note the England flag on the cap and the Australia t-shirt on the zombie) below, courtesy of IGN.
