LEGO Universe Goes Live For “Founders”

Lego-based MMO, LEGO Universe goes live today for “founders” – those who pre-purchased the title through official Lego sales channels.
These happy souls will have around two weeks to play around with the game, before the US and European release dates of 26 October and 22 October. It sounds like quite a responsibility though, as you’ll be expected to “join the heroic Nexus Force alliance, teaming up with friends to adventure, explore and battle back the chaotic Maelstrom to save Imagination.” Crikey.
Luckily, that seems to be plot-code for ‘build a bunch of stuff and have fun.’
Click below to watch Patrick Stewart explain the Nexus Force in fruitier tones than I can muster, and to look at some new screenshots.
