Limbo is free on Steam for 24 hours

Playdead’s monochrome, spider-filled Limbo platformer is free on Steam today, for around 24 hours. It’s part of a promotional offer celebrating the announcement of a release date for their next game, Inside, which is coming to Steam on 7 July.

To get Limbo, just visit the page within Steam and press install. Assuming it’s still 22 June or earlier. Congrats, now you own the game. Give it a go, it’s only about three hours long and quite depressing. Hooray!

I’m less sure what Inside is going to be about (possibly by design), but you can watch the latest trailer for that game below. Looks like it may be a bit on the bleak and alienating side too.
