June can sometimes be a difficult month for games journalists, lacking the usual cavalcade of releases that accompany the pre-Christmas and early spring windows. Not this year though. Lost Planet 3 will be joining Company of Heroes 2 as a summer release.

So now there’s absolutely no excuse to actually go outside. 25 June is the precise (US) release date for the title, which continues the series by stranding Utility Rig worker Jim Peyton on a chilly ice planet. One full of aliens, obviously. Europe will get it on 28 June.
