LotRO Welcomes Back Players

Players wishing to return to Lord of the Rings Online and play for free have a couple of days left until the offer is closed.

Last week, Turbine announced “Welcome Back Week”, where former LotRO players could come back and revive their old characters to try out the recently-added content for free. There is also a bonus 25% experience boost for the duration of the offer, which runs from the 9 – 15 July. The game client game be downloaded from the offer page.

Recent additions to the game include Book 8: Scourge of Khazad-Dûm.

Last week, Funcom announced a similar offer to Age of Conan players, whereby they were also offered a chance to return to the game for a period of two weeks free play. Players have until 22 July to take up that offer.
