Bioware has revealed that George Lucas is involved in the development of Star Wars: The Old Republic. In an interview with G4TV, Bioware’s Ray Muzyka explained Lucas’ role in the upcoming MMORPG.”I haven’t shown it to him [Lucas] personally, no, but I know he keeps his finger on the pulse of everything that LucasArts is working on, so I know he’s involved in it,” said Muzyka.
“I’ve talked to him about the project in the past and I know he’s excited about it.”
Muzyka was also asked if Lucas had seen the game’s stunning CGI trailer, The Sacking of Coruscant.”I can’t say what he thought of the trailer because I don’t know for sure that he’s seen it,” said Muzyka, “but I imagine he has because he’s very involved in the development side of things.
We’re not entirely sure just how involved Lucas can be in the development of a game he apparently hasn’t seen, but we’ll take Bioware’s word for it. We’ve definitely seen the game, however, find out what we thought here.
