Mabinogi Open Beta Launches Today

Nexon Europe has launched the open beta test for its upcoming free to play MMO, Mabinogi.

Closed beta testers will notice a whole host of new content available in the open beta, such as the Generation 2: Paladin, which brings new episodes, quests and new skills. Paladins also possess the ability to boost their character attributes once a day for a set period.

A number of in-game events are also due to kick off from today, including the Pet Adoption event, where players can walk away with a virtual pet as a reward by completing quests.

Next month, the Valentine’s Day event starts which sees NPCs handing out chocolates to players. These sweets can then be shared with other players.

Players can look forward to a continuous beta test without reset or character wipe before the official launch, so drop in and give it a try.
