Ghost Rider has a Legendary Challenge in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. This gets unlocked once you’ve built the Armory and you’ve maxed out his Friendship Level. You can then start a solo encounter that’s more akin to a puzzle, which eventually rewards his Legendary Card. Here’s our Marvel’s Midnight Suns Ghost Rider Legendary Challenge guide to help you complete Dark Heart for the Penance Stare ability.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns Ghost Rider Legendary Challenge guide – Penance Stare Legendary Card

When you do the Ghost Rider Legendary Challenge in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you’ll notice that some weak mobs are further apart and you need to take them out. As such, you’ll need to do a few actions in the correct order as seen in the image below:

  • 1. Use Lash on the mob in the middle and have it crash into the furthest one.
  • 2. Use your other Lash on one of the faraway enemies so it hits your previous target (the one that you threw across the area). You should have two hostiles near each other, which means you can kill them both with the Judgment AoE.
  • 3. Kill the other minion using Retribution.

That leaves you with only one enemy left. Likewise, you’ll receive the Penance Stare Legendary Card for Ghost Rider in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Go ahead and burn your remaining foe to complete the encounter.

This ability has the following traits when upgraded: Consume 50% of HP and deal +4 four damage for each point of health; Exhaust. Ideally, you’ll want to pop this when Ghost Rider’s HP is at its maximum value. It’s possible to use this one your first turn if you have other cards to boost Heroism gains, which means Ghost Rider probably hasn’t taken damage yet. Still, if you want to make the most out of it, you could kill a bunch of enemies to proc his Soul Collector passive (i.e., HP increase), followed by a healing skill. The more HP you have, the higher the damage it will deal.
