Marvel’s Midnight Suns boss guide – How to beat Fallen Sabretooth

Similar to other major foes, the Fallen Sabretooth boss in Marvel’s Midnight Suns does show up several times throughout the course of the campaign. His first appearance is during The Best There Is mission. In some story missions, you need to deplete his HP bar a couple of times just to finish the encounter. However, if he appears as reinforcements in general/side missions, then you only need to KO him once. Here are the abilities you need to watch out for:

  • Frenzy – Will automatically attack whenever two cards are played.

You’ll face Sabretooth in a couple of story missions in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, while you’re accompanied by Wolverine. In these instances, you don’t have a way to upgrade Wolverine’s cards or edit his decks. As such, you’ll probably spam Logan’s attacks when possible. This can actually pose a problem because of Frenzy. Since Sabretooth will always attack every two cards played, his targets can end up taking a beating or get Dazed.

Essentially, your goal whenever Sabretooth is around is to plan your moves carefully to minimize the damage, so don’t just use cards over and over without taking care of your teammates. Anticipate your opponent’s moves, and be ready with heals/debuffs/counters when necessary. Once you’ve got the right high-damage cards, or Chain-type attacks with only the boss as the sole target, then he’ll practically go down in a few hits.
