Bioware’s Ian Frazer has clarified that the Mass Effect: Andromeda patch is included in the trial version of the game on Origin Access.
The post from Frazier confirms that some of the game’s weird issues such as animations are not being being fixed in a day one patch because the day one patch is actually live.

Responding to a question about the animations which have raised a few eyebrows he says “that the ship has sailed” but there will be more patches later. However, he doesn’t specify what will be in them so we have no idea if and when then will get sorted. We’ll have to sit tight and see what they come up with then weeks ahead.
