Piranha’s free-to-play rebirth of the Mechwarrior series, Mechwarrior Online, was announced back in October last year. With a summer release on the cards of the online, multiplayer PC title, it’s about time we had some gameplay footage, isn’t it?
As the headline may somewhat have given away, that’s exactly what we do have. Shown at the Games Developers Conference, but now released for general consumption, the video shows big stompy mechs doing what they do best; shooting lasers and missiles at each other while slowly circle-strafing and trying to hide behind hills.
