Merchants Of Brooklyn Hits Steam

Paleo Entertainment’s Merchants of Brooklyn is now available to download from Valve’s Steam platform. The game is a first person actioner with a unique art style and lashings of the old ultraviolence to keep you interested. Set in 3100 A.D., New York has been flooded due to global warming and its citizens have had to build upwards to survive. The resulting divide between the classes led to law enforcement abandoning the lower parts of the city. When the Brooklyn Institute of Technology clones a new class of Neanderthal workers, Brooklyn’s organised crime lords (the Merchants of Brooklyn) see an opportunity to make money out of the clones by pitting them against each other in fights to the death. You play a Neanderthal fighter with a biomechanical arm whose goal is to escape to the upper levels of society and liberate his brothers.Made with Crytek’s CryEngine 2, the game features stylised visuals and destructible physics-based environments.Merchants of Brooklyn is available now on Steam at the promotional price of £13.59 GBP if you purchase before 24 March.
