It appears that there may be a complete Metal Gear Solid mega collection coming to the Playstation 3 in the near future. Despite having already released the Metal Gear Solid HD collection for PS3, 360 and PS Vita, it appears another collection that may chronicle the entire catalog of games for the Playstation 3, including Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of the Patriots could be on the horizon.

The Korean video game rating board have a listing for Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection and it’s fair to say that a number of games have first surfaced this way, backing the legitimacy of the listing. Although it may seem a little strange to see that the collection is only listed for the PS3, it’s important to bear in mind that Metal Gear Solid IV has never seen a release on the Xbox 360, so it’s unlikely the collection will come to the system if the game is included.

The mastermind behind the franchise, Hideo Kojima, also added some fuel to the fire with a recent tweet that falls right in line with the ratings too, showing the many Snakes that have featured in a variety of games spanning the PSone to Playstation 3.

We’ve reached out to Konami to see if they can confirm the legitimacy of this collection and will update the post with any response we receive.
