Minecraft devs’ strategy title Scrolls gets a launch trailer, open beta date

How do you follow Minecraft? That’s probably a question Mojang loathes, because they’ll know deep down that the answer (in terms of success at least) is “you can’t.” Better to just make use of all the cash raised from the block-bothering phenomena and create something you really love – like Scrolls.

Scrolls is a mixture of collectible card game mechanics and Might & Magic style hex-based strategy. Use your resources to play your ‘scrolls’ (ie; creature cards) on the board, and attempt to destroy your opponent’s forces. It’s entering open beta on 3 June, and to accompany that fact there’s a ‘launch’ trailer to show you more.
