Minecraft hits 10 million

Another milestone for Minecraft is reached and it’s a whopper.
The Word of Notch blog site was updated earlier with news that Minecraft has now reached 10 million registered users, which is simply outstanding.
Of the 10,012,936 registerd users, 2,676,833 have actually purchased the game which has been helped buy the price reduction from 20 Euros to 14.95 Euros during the never ending Beta test.
With the game coming out in November, Minecraft will be taking even more cash at the reduced rate and it’s a model that’s working very well for developer Mojang.
