Microsoft has revealed that Minecraft modding will now be officially possible via Visual Studio.

It’s all found under the Intellisense tool in Visual Studio. Microsoft is not looking to replace the existing Eclipse tool, but to get new developers, especially children, interested in programming, particularly using Visual Studio.

Of course, given this focus, anyone can easily learn and start making their own mods. The question is, would you give this a spin? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
