Notch was busy this morning pointing out that Minecraft has sold a whopping 9+ million copies. In a Tweet he added:
Minecraft has now sold 9 million copies on PC/Mac! That’s so awesome, it’s making me invent new words. Blawsome!
The news just goes to show that fancy graphics are not always key to selling bucket loads of games , allowing gamers to get creative is just as rewarding. It’s certainly done well for Markus Persson.
