The weeks begins with a new Kickstarter campaign and this one is for a new MMO which is being developed by Calgary-based NeoJac Entertainment.
So what is Neo’s Land? According to the info posted on the site, the development team are wanting players to be “directly involved in the creation of the game” leading up to the launch which is slated for spring 2014.
NeoJac CEO Jacques Rossouw added: “We are holding regular roundtable discussions with our fan base and they are dictating to us what they’d like to see in terms of an economy, combat, crafting, housing and more for Neo’s Land.”
The game has been created with NeoJac’s proprietary server engine, Atavism Online, which provides tools to create an online world and accompanying storyline. There’s a Voxel Editor to customise dungeons and there’s also crowd sources assets available through the Unity Store for anyone wanting to get creative.
If this all sounds good then watch the video below, the developers are looking for $100,000 to get the campaign funded.
