According to DICE, more than eight million players took part int he Battlefield 3 Beta.
Statistics posted on the Battlefield blog shows that an impressive number of shooter fans took part in the Beta test. Out of the 8,125,310 players that took part, 47 billion shots were fired and 1.5 billion kills were recorded.
Considering the beta was quite heavily criticised by testers, enough players reported for duty so DICE should have no excuse when it comes to making the multiplayer highly polished.
