Man, game trailers are getting weird. Last week we had a Dark Souls 2 trailer explaining how to smith armour, and this week we’ve got a Total War: Rome 2 trailer with a former Green Beret/Discovery Channel presenter/survivalist looking at a legionary’s equipment.

The aptly named “Legionary Kit with Mykel Hawke” has Mykel Hawke… looking at a legionary’s kit. Which is not a euphemism. Learn about the importance of supply chains, what a Furca is and what benefits it has over a modern backpack, formation techniques and weapons, and a whole lot more.

It’s fascinating. Give it a look below, and remember that Total War: Rome 2 is out on 3 September. I mean, I’m assuming that asking us to remember this was the point of the trailer, so…
